Quarterback Dante Pinckney (jr. Lawnside, NJ/Haddon Heights) threw for 258 yards and three touchdowns in the football team’s 31-0 victory over William Paterson University (Sept. 16). He completed 17 passes in 27 attempts and also ran the ball six times for 26 yards. Two of Pinckney’s TD tosses were for more then 45 yards. He has thrown for over 250 yards in back-to-back games, the first Rowan quarterback to achieve that feat since 2012. For the season, he is 34 of 56 for 523 yards and five touchdowns. He ranks second in the conference in yards per game (261.5) and fourth in passing efficiency (161.5).
