Glenn Kohles (jr. Toms River, NJ/Toms River E.) was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Field Athlete of the Week after leading the Profs to their first-ever Eastern College Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship (May 18-19). Kohles finished first (164’ 7”, 50.17 meters) in the discus and took third (54’ 8.75”, 16.68 meters) in the shot put. His throw in the discus qualified him for the NCAA Championships and he ranks 10th. In the shot put, Kohles’ toss moved him into 15th on the NCAA list and he will also compete at nationals in that event.
