Second baseman Carly Anderson (fr. Nutley, NJ/Nutley) earned NJAC Rookie of the Week honors after helping the softball team to a 4-0 week. Anderson was 9-for-14 (.643) with three homers, one double, eight RBIs and eight runs scored. In game one against New Jersey City University (Apr. 23), she was 5-for-5 with two home runs, knocked in seven runs and scored four times. Overall, she is batting .441 with 10 doubles, six homers, 32 RBIs and 28 runs scored. In the NJAC, Anderson is third in batting average, tied for third in hits (49) and fifth in slugging percentage (.694), on-base percentage (.508) and RBIs.
