Guard Nick DePersia (fr. Cherry Hill, NJ/Haddonfield Mem.) led the men’s basketball team to a 1-1 week. He averaged 20 points and 4.5 rebounds in the two contests. DePersia scored 24 points, shooting 9-for-14 from the field in an 84-83 overtime win against Montclair State University (Feb. 10). He followed that with 16 points, including 11 from the free throw line in the 69-63 loss at Rutgers-Newark (Feb. 13). DePersia was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Rookie of the Week. For the season, he is scoring 12.0 points per contest and is shooting 32.9% from beyond the arc.
