Forward Shane Doherty (fr. Delran, NJ/Delran) was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Men’s Soccer Rookie of the Week. Doherty scored two goals and had one assist, leading the Profs to a 4-2 upset victory at #11 Messiah College (Sept. 19). It was the first ever victory for Rowan over Messiah and the Profs’ fifth straight win. For the season, Doherty leads Rowan with four goals and five assists for 13 points.
