Guard Anyssa Sanchez (so. Stratford, NJ/Sterling) averaged 15.0 points and 8.5 rebounds in a 1-1 week for the women’s basketball team. At the St. Pete Classic, she scored 17 points and had six rebounds in the 78-71 win against Berry College (GA). In the 76-70 loss to Wisconsin Lutheran, Sanchez registered 13 points and tied her career-high with 11 rebounds. This season, she leads the Profs with 13.2 points per game. Sanchez is averaging 5.5 rebounds per game and has produced 33 steals and 24 assists.
