Guard Anyssa Sanchez (so. Stratford, NJ/Sterling) helped the women’s basketball team to a 1-1 record last week. She scored 14 points in a win over The College of New Jersey (Dec. 10). In Rowan’s first loss of the season at Widener University (Dec. 13), Sanchez poured in 24 points, grabbed eight rebounds and recorded four steals. She is leading the team this season with 12.8 points per game. She is also averaging 4.9 rebounds and has tallied 29 steals and 21 assists.
