Samantha Edwards (fr. Pilesgrove, NJ/Woodstown) helped guide the women’s swim team to second place at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational (Dec. 1-2). Edwards won the 1650 freestyle with a time of 17:52.15. She took second in the 500 freestyle (5:16.77) and third in the 200 freestyle (1:59.26). Edwards also swam a leg on the third place 400 freestyle relay (8:12.91). In her rookie year, Edwards has the Profs’ best times in the 200 (1:59.26), 500 (5:16.35), 1,000 (10:49.11) and 1650 freestyles (17:52.15).
