Forward Matt Byrnes (sr. Mays Landing, NJ/Oakcrest) guided the men’s basketball team to a 74-69 win over Arcadia University (Nov. 26). The Profs improved to 3-0 behind Byrnes’ 13 points, eight rebounds and four blocked shots. Byrnes is currently fourth in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) with 19.7 points per game. He has 1,507 career points and is 122 points away from breaking the University’s career scoring mark held by Terrance Stewart (1,628 points, 1992-96).
