Pat Malone (sr. Sewell, NJ/Gloucester Catholic) won four individual events and was a member of three winning relays in a 2-0 week for the men’s swimming and diving team. At William Paterson University, he was the winner in the 200 freestyle (1:47.97) and the 100 butterfly (52.87). Malone swam third on the first place 400 freestyle relay (3:18.58). Against St. Francis, Malone had first places in the 100 (52.41) and 200 (1:59.61) butterflies. He was on the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays that won with times of 1:37.12 and 3:17.42 respectively. Malone was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Swimmer of the Week .
