Second baseman Alysa Romero (so. Newfield, NJ/Vineland) produced a .357 batting average in the six regional games. She totaled three RBIs, three runs scored, two home runs and one double. Romero recorded the game-winning home run in the 2-1 victory against Babson College. In the final round, she had a homer in the 4-1 loss to the top seed Tufts University. Romero was named to the All-Tournament Team. She hit .276 for the season with 27 RBIs and 21 runs scored. She registered eight doubles and eight home runs.
