Goalkeeper Kevin Nuss (sr. Swedesboro, NJ/Kingsway Reg.) led the men’s soccer team to two key victories last week. Nuss stopped five shots in Rowan’s 2-1 victory of The College of New Jersey (Oct. 25) that clinched the sixth seed in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championship Tournament. In a 1-0 win over TCNJ in the first round of the conference tournament (Oct. 27), Nuss made four saves for his fourth shutout. For his performance, he was selected the NJAC Defensive Player of the Week. Nuss is fifth in the conference with 75 saves.
