Larry Dow (jr. Alexandria, VA/T.C. Williams) contributed to the men’s swimming and diving team’s fourth place finish at the Metropolitan Championships (Feb. 15-17). Dow took third in the 100 backstroke with a school record time of 50.20. His time was also better than the NCAA B cut (51.77). Dow improved on the University mark (50.26) that he set at last year’s Mets. He was also a member of the 200 medley and 400 medley relays that were third (1:34.08) and fourth (3:27.76) respectively.
