Right-handed pitcher Amanda Riegel (jr. Millville, NJ/Sacred Heart) went 2-0 at the Virginia Wesleyan Tournament (Mar. 2-3). In a 10-0 victory over Polytechnic University (Mar. 2), Riegel pitched five shutout innings, allowing just two hits and striking out three batters. She struck out seven hitters and gave up only one hit in a 10-0 win over Frostburg State University (Mar. 3). For her performance, Riegel was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Pitcher of the Week.
