Melirah Searcy (fr. Edison, NJ/Edison) took second place in the 400 meter hurdles at the University of Pennsylvania Invitational (Apr. 7). Her time of 1:03.71 was a season best. It is the 12th fastest time in the NCAA Division III this year. Searcy also ran on the third place (3:54.03) 4x400 meter and fourth place (9:30.87) 4x800 meter relays. For her performance, she received NJAC Rookie of the Week honors.
