Demetrius Rooks (jr. Galloway, NJ/Absegami) won the 400 meter hurdles at the University of Pennsylvania Invitational (Apr. 7). Rooks time of 52.39 was a season best. His previous fastest time of 42.92 came at the Danny Curran Invitational (Mar. 31). Rooks currently has the second best time in Division III. He also anchored the first place 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:15.90. Rooks was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Track Athlete of the Week for the third time this year and the second straight week.
