Jena Peacock (sr. Williamstown, NJ/Our Lady of Mercy Academy) guided the women’s indoor track team to a third place finish at the NJAC Championships (Feb. 24).  The meet was held at the Armory in New York, NY.  Peacock won the one mile with a time of 5:06.27, which was better than then Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships qualifier (5:16.50).  She also took seventh in the 800 meters with an ECAC qualifying (2:22.50) time of 2:22.25.  Peacock ran the third leg of the first place 4x800 meter relay (9:26.87).  The time broke the school (9:35.31) and meet (9:39.43) records.  The relay was also an ECAC qualifier (10:12.00).  She collected NJAC Track Athlete of the Week honors for the fourth straight week and fifth time overall.
