Superback Rob Richardson (sr. Hackensack, NJ/Garfield) ran for 175 yards and one touchdown in Rowan’s 40-18 win over Western Connecticut State University (Sept. 29). Richardson’s 175 yards accounted for almost two thirds of the Profs’ total rushing offense. He scored on a 36 yard TD run in the fourth quarter. For his performance, Richardson was named the NJAC Offensive Player of the Week. He is ranked fifth in the conference in rushing yards per game with a 79.0 average. This season, Richardson has totaled 316 yards and two touchdowns on 57 carries.
