Christie Raleigh (jr. Toms River, NJ/Pine Crest School (FL)) had a stellar performance at the Metropolitan Championships (Feb. 17-19).  She won the 100 butterfly with a time of 55.44, which was a NCAA A cut (55.91) and broke the school (57.27) and meet records (55.56).  Raleigh captured first in the 100 freestyle (51.04).  Her time was a NCAA B cut (52.32) and surpassed the University mark (52.73).  She set a new Rowan record in the 50 freestyle with 23.55, which was a NCAA B cut (23.97).  Raleigh swam on the third place 800 freestyle (7:56.61) and fourth place 400 freestyle (3:33.78) relays that broke the school marks of 7:58.94 and 3:36.08.  She was a member of the fourth place 200 freestyle (1:38.48) and seventh place 400 medley (4:05.83) relays that registered season best times.  Raleigh was selected the Women’s Swimmer of the Meet and collected NJAC Swimmer of the Week honors for the second straight week and third time overall.
