Forward Michelle Carrocino (fr. Mickleton, NJ/Kingsway Reg.) scored two goals and had one assist in a 2-0 week for the women’s soccer team. In Rowan’s 8-0 victory over Chestnut Hill College (Sept. 13), Carrocino found the net once. In the first New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) game against Montclair State University (Sept. 15), Carrocino scored the first goal of the game and assisted on the game winner in overtime. For her performance, she was named the NJAC Rookie of the Week. She leads the team with 17 points (eight goals and one assist). Carrocino ranks third in the conference in goals (1.33) and fourth in points per game (2.83).
