Linebacker Dean Hammel (sr. Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) helped the football team to a 36-17 victory over Morrisville State College (Oct. 15). Hammel posted a team-high 10 tackles (two solo, eight assisted), one tackle for a loss (-3 yards), two forced fumbles and one pass breakup. He returned one fumble 26 yards for the first touchdown of the game. Hammel was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Defensive Player of the Week. He is tied for first in the conference in fumble recoveries (0.5) and fourth in tackles (9.3).
