Demetrius Rooks (so. Galloway, NJ/Absegami) earned All-America honors in the 400 meter hurdles and as part of the 4x400 meter relay at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Delaware, OH (May 26-28). Rooks ran the final leg of the 4x400 meter relay that won the national title with a time of 3:11.45. He finished second in the 400 meter hurdles in 51.98. For his performance, Rooks was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Track Athlete of the Week for the fifth time this season.
