Jamie Thompson (fr. Monmouth Jct., NJ/South Brunswick) finished third in the 60 meter hurdles at the Armory Collegiate Challenge (Feb. 25). Her time of 8.85 was a NCAA automatic qualifier (8.87). Thompson was chosen the NJAC Rookie of the Week for the third consecutive week. It was her fourth honor this season. The NCAA converts the 60 meter hurdle times to the equivalent in the 55 meter hurdles, which gives Thompson the top time in the country this year.
