Tim Dimond (so. Allentown, PA/Emmaus) led the men’s swim team to a 2-0 week. At Ramapo College (Jan. 16), Dimond won the 200 yard backstroke (2:00.93) and 1000 yard freestyle (10:44.35). He placed second in the 100 yard butterfly (55.19). Dimond was also part of the first place 400 yard freestyle relay (3:23.66). For his performance, he was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Swimmer of the Week. Against the University of Scranton (Jan. 17), Dimond captured first in three events. He was the winner in the 100 yard butterfly (54.57), 200 yard backstroke (2:07.57) and 1000 yard freestyle (10:30.67). Dimond also swam on the first place 400 yard freestyle relay (3:18.60).
