Quarterback Tim Hagerty (sr. Glassboro, NJ/Glassboro) helped the football team to a 12-7 win over William Paterson University (Sept. 25). Hagerty entered the game at 2:08 in the first quarter with the Profs’ trailing 7-0. He guided the offense to field goals on two consecutive possessions to pull within one (7-6) at halftime. Hagerty opened the third quarter with a 70 yard touchdown run, which proved to be the game-winning score. He completed eight of 18 passes for 109 yards. He also ran for a team-high 96 yards on nine carries.
