Sean Biehn (sr. Edgewater Park, NJ/Burlington City) won the javelin at the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championships (May 8). His throw of 214’ 6” (65.38 meters) broke the meet record held by Rowan’s Ed Colleton (206’ 1”, 62.82 meters in 1999). Biehn’s toss was also a NCAA automatic qualifier (205’ 1”, 62.50 meters). For his performance, he was selected the NJAC Outstanding Male Field Athlete of the Meet, named to the All-Conference first team and chosen the NJAC Field Athlete of the Week for the third time this season.
