Kyle Hayes (jr. Pt. Pleasant, NJ/Pt. Pleasant Boro) competed at the Penn Relays (Apr. 23) and the Lions’ Invitational (Apr. 24). He finished 11th in the college eastern long jump at the Penn Relays with a distance of 23’ 3.5” (7.10 meters). Hayes won the long jump at the Lions’ Invitational with 23’ 2.75” (7.08 meters). Both jumps were better than the NCAA provisional (22’ 11.75”, 7.00 meters). He was selected the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Field Athlete of the Week for the second time this season. He currently has the 12th best distance in the long jump in Division III.
