Kyle Hayes (jr. Pt. Pleasant, NJ/Pt. Pleasant Boro) won the long jump at the Rowan Open (Apr. 9). He recorded a distance of 23’ (7.01 meters), which is better than the NCAA provisional (22’ 11.75”, 7.00 meters). His jump was also a new Rowan Open meet record. Hayes was selected the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Field Athlete of the Week. Currently, he has the 14th best jump in Division III.
