Jenn Rawls (fr. Runnemede, NJ/Highland Reg.) turned in an excellent performance at the first collegiate indoor track meet. At the New York City Gotham Cup (Jan. 15), she took fourth place in the women’s seeded one mile with a time of 5:11.82. Rawls’ time was better than the school record of 5:12.13 set by Linda Vaughan in 1990. She also ran on the 5th place (12:40.75) distance medley relay. The relay broke the previous school record of 12:44.72 (1990). Rawls was named theNJAC Rookie of the Week.
