Sean Biehn (jr. Edgewater Park, NJ/Burlington City) won the javelin in both of the men’s track and field team’s meets. At the NYC Qualifying Challenge (May 9), he won the college division and finished second overall with a throw of 204’ 6” (62.34 meters), which was a NCAA provisional (188’ 8”, 57.50 meters). It marked the fifth best throw in Division III this season. At the Swarthmore Last Chance Meet (May 11), Biehn had a winning throw of 197’ 10” (60.29 meters). He was named this week’s New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Field Athlete of the Week.
