Mark Lisa (fr. Highland Lakes, NJ/Vernon Twp.) won the long jump at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (May 2). He recorded a distance of 23’ (7.01 meters) which was better than the NCAA provisional (7.00 meters). Lisa’s best NCAA provisional this season is 23’ 5.25” (7.14 meters), which he recorded at the Towson Invitational. For his performance, he was selected the NJAC Co-Rookie of the Year and the NJAC Rookie of the Week. Lisa also earned NJAC All-Conference first team honors.
