Right-hander Jackie Sasko (sr. Groveville, NJ/Steinert) improved to 10-1 overall with three wins last week. In five innings, she allowed one run on five hits and struck out five hitters in an 11-1 victory over Haverford College (Mar. 27). Sasko picked up both wins over Ramapo College, 2-0 and 5-1 (Mar. 28). In the first game, she went seven innings, giving up just three hits. She recorded six strikeouts. Sasko tossed 3.2 scoreless innings in relief in the second game. She did not surrender a hit and struck out four batters. Sasko was named the NJAC Pitcher of the Week. This season, she has compiled a 0.97 earned run average and 66 strikeouts in 74.0 innings.
