Right fielder John McMullin (sr. Woodbury, NJ/Gloucester Catholic) helped the baseball team to a 1-1-1 record in its first week of play. He batted .750 (nine for 12) with 10 RBIs, three runs scored, two doubles, one triple and a home run. In Rowan’s first game against Christopher Newport University (Feb. 20), McMullin was four for four with four RBIs, a double, a triple and two stolen bases. In the second matchup at Christopher Newport (Feb. 21), he posted three hits (five at bats), five RBIs, one run scored and a grand slam. Versus Bridgewater College (VA) (Feb. 21), McMullin compiled two hits (three at bats), two runs scored, one RBI and a double. For his performance, he was named this week’s New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Player of the Week.
