Back Kelly Angstadt (sr. Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) totaled five points in Rowan’s two NCAA Division III Championship Tournament games. In a 5-4 overtime win versus Trinity College (CT) in the second round (Nov. 15), she recorded two goals and one assist. Her second goal tied the game at four to send it into overtime. Angstadt anchored the Profs’ defense that forced overtime against top ranked Messiah College (Nov. 16) in the third round. She finished the season with seven points on three goals and one assist. Angstadt was named the NJAC Defensive Player of the Week and collected Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) South Atlantic All-Region first team honors.
