Pitcher/designated player Jackie Sasko (jr. Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) led the Profs to a 6-1 record last week. On the mound, Sasko went 4-0 with a 0.88 earned run average (ERA). In 24.0 innings, she recorded 37 strikeouts. Sasko pitched a perfect game against Gwynedd-Mercy College (Mar. 25), striking out 11 batters. She allowed five hits in seven innings against Haverford College (Mar. 27) and gave up two earned runs in seven innings versus Kean (Mar. 29). Sasko struck out nine hitters in both contests. Sasko tossed five scoreless innings at Swarthmore College (Mar. 30), striking out eight batters. She was selected the NJAC Pitcher of the Week for the third time this season.
