Heidi DeGuzman (fr. Pennsauken, NJ/Pennsauken) captured first place in the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.98 at the Lehigh Covert Classic (Jan. 24). She also finished seventh in the 200 meters (27.33). DeGuzman was named the NJAC Rookie of the Week. Her fastest time in the 60 meter dash is 7.92, which she set at the New York City Gotham Cup (Jan. 17).
