Midfielder Veronica Rhea (fr. Pennsauken, NJ/Paul VI) scored one goal and had one assist to help guide the women’s soccer team to its first NJAC Championship since the program began in 1995. In a 2-1 victory over The College of New Jersey in the conference semifinals (Nov. 5), Rhea scored Rowan’s first goal. She added an assist off of a free kick in the Profs’ 2-0 win at Richard Stockton College in the final (Nov. 8). Rhea earned her second NJAC Rookie of the Week honor. This season, she has 11 points with four goals and three assists.
