McNamara Selected As A Sam Cozen Player Of The Week

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Rowan University guard Rich McNamara was honored as a Sam Cozen Player of the Week at the Philadelphia Area Small College Basketball Luncheon on Tuesday, February 7.  The event was held at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.

McNamara (so. Southampton, NJ/Seneca) leads the Profs in scoring and rebounding with 15.7 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.  He has 24 assists and 21 steals.  McNamara has produced a .436 field goal percentage, a .308 three-point field goal percentage and a .798 free throw percentage.  He has made a team-high 37 three-pointers.

In the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) statistics, McNamara is sixth in free throw percentage (.798), seventh in scoring (15.7), ninth in rebounding (6.7) and 10th in three-point field goals made (1.6).  He was named the NJAC Player of the Week twice this season (Dec. 25 and Jan.29).
