NJAC Performers of the Week
Dan Bower (sr. Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) becomes the third different Prof to earn NJAC Swimmer of the Week honors after helping Rowan secure a 183-79 NJAC win over Ramapo. In the final dual-meet of his collegiate career, he produced first place finishes in the 100 breaststroke (59.05), the 200 breaststroke (2:16.21) and the 200 individual medley (2:04.12). Bower also was a member of the Profs’ first place 200 medley relay which produced a winning time of 1:37.32. With the win, Rowan finished its dual-meet season with a 6-1 overall record.
Troy Cervini (fr. Vineland, NJ/Vineland) earns NJAC Rookie of the Week honors for the second time this season after helping the Profs secure a second place finish in the NJAC with a 183-79 conference win over Ramapo. Individually, he placed third in the 200 freestyle and fourth in the 100 butterfly with respective times of 1:50.00 and 55.26. Cervini also was a member of Rowan’s first place 400 freestyle relay which produced a winning time of 3:13.70.
