2009-10 NJAC All-Conference Team
PITMAN, NJ – Rowan University forward Amanda Jennings was selected to the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) All-Conference first team.
A team captain, Jennings (sr. Turnersville, NJ/Washington Twp.) led the Profs in several categories, including: points (20.3) and rebounds (10.2) per game, field goal percentage (.604), free throw percentage (.810) and blocked shots (36). She was second on the squad in steals (57) and totaled 48 assists. Jennings is first the conference in scoring and field goal percentage. She ranks third in free throw percentage and blocked shots (1.38), fourth in rebounding and is tied for 10th in steals (2.19). In the latest NCAA Division III statistics (Feb. 21), Jennings was 12th in field goal percentage, 17th in points per game and 56th in rebounds per game.
This season, she was named the NJAC Player of the Week four times. Jennings also collected Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Metro Player of the Week honors three times and was chosen the Philadelphia Area Small-College Sam Cozen Player of the Week once. In three years at Rowan, she totaled 924 points (12.8 points per game), 470 rebounds (6.5 rebounds per game), 110 steals, 81 assists and 39 blocked shots. In 72 career games, Jennings recorded a .591 field goal percentage and a .712 free throw percentage.
Rowan finished the season with a 17-9 record and advanced to the semifinals of the NJAC Championship Tournament.
