Jennings Named NJAC Player of the Week for Fourth Time This Season

Forward Amanda Jennings (sr. Turnersville, NJ/Washington Twp.) earns NJAC Player of the Week honors for the fourth time this season after averaging a double-double 26.0 points and 11.0 rebounds per game in a 2-1 week for the Profs which earned Rowan a trip to the semifinals of the NJAC Championship Tournament. After opening the week with 19 points and six rebounds in a 76-55 NJAC road loss at Kean, she wrapped up the regular season with a double-double 28 points and 10 rebounds in a 94-52 NJAC win over Rutgers-Camden. Three days later, she registered a double-double 31 points on 11-of-19 shooting from the field, while adding 17 rebounds and three blocks in a come-from-behind 72-65 win over Ramapo in the opening round of the NJAC Tournament. With the victory, Rowan will travel to face North Division Champion William Paterson in the NJAC Tournament semifinals on February 23. Jennings currently leads the NJAC in scoring with an average of 20.4 points per game.
