NJAC Athletes of the Week
Dan Bower (so. Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) earns NJAC Men’s Swimming & Diving Swimmer of the Week honors after competing in the Profs’ 172-128 victory over USMMA-Kings Point. Individually, he produced first-place finishes and season-best times in the 100 breaststroke (58.61), the 200 breaststroke (2:14.04) and the 200 individual medley (2:00.72). Bower also swam the breaststroke leg of Rowan’s first place 200 medley relay which produced a winning time of 1:37.76.
Mark Balesteri (jr. Egg Harbor Twp., NJ/Egg Harbor Twp.) earns NJAC Men’s Swimming & Diving Diver of the Week honors for the third time this season after competing in Rowan’s 172-128 meet victory over USMMA-Kings Point. He placed second in the one-meter diving competition with a score of 239.85. Balesteri also produced a second place finish in the three-meter diving event with a score of 262.05.
Tim Dimond (fr. Allentown, PA/Emmaus) earns NJAC Men’s Swimming & Diving Rookie of the Week honors for the fourth time this season and the third consecutive week after helping the Profs earn a 172-128 meet win over USMMA Kings Point. Individually, he produced first place finishes in the 200 freestyle (1:45.50) and the 500 freestyle (4:54.46), while registering a season-best time in the 200 individual medley (2:01.74). Dimond also competed as a member of the Profs’ first place 200 medley relay (1:36.76).
