Virginia Snuffin Wannewick competed for the field hockey and basketball teams in the early days of the Profs’ athletic program.

A member of the class of 1941, Snuffin Wannewick was a four-year member of both teams, entering the Glassboro State when it had just been made a four-year college.

Snuffin Wannewick, who served as the sports editor for the Whit, went on to enjoy a lengthy career in teaching after graduation.
