A running back, Reid held the school records for most attempts and touchdowns rushing in a career and season, and most yards gained in a career. He was an outstanding football player that earned Eastern College Athletic Conference and NJAC All-Conference honors. In addition, Reid received All-American honorable mention.

In 1985, Reid graduated with a bachelor’s in law and justice.
