Rick Giancola was a two-sport athlete in football and baseball at Glassboro State from 1964 to 1968.
 
A four-year letterwinner in football, the tight end was named to the All-Eastern Coast Conference Team in his senior season. Giancola was also an outfielder for the Profs for two years.
 
Giancola graduated with his degree in education and went on to a successful college coaching career at Montclair State University.
