Holly Archibald Hill was a world-class archer and in 1978, captured the U.S. National Archery Championship, while being ranked fifth in the world.

She was the New Jersey State champion for five consecutive years, while winning three Pennsylvania titles and the Delaware state championship once.

A 1978 Glassboro State graduate, Archibald also won state titles in New York, Virginia and Ohio, as well as being the Eastern Regional champion.
