Connie Ewing was three-sport athlete for Glassboro State, but exceled in swimming, where she was a nine-time All-American.
In 1983, Ewing earned All-America honors in the 50-, 100-, and 200-yard breaststroke and in both 1984 and 1985, earned All-America status in the 100- and 200-yard events. At the time of her graduation in 1985, Ewing owned multiple school records.
A four-year letterwinner in field hockey, she was also on the lacrosse team for two years, and received the Dr. Maurice G. Verbeke Athletic Program Service Award.
