A three-sport athlete, Zotos played basketball (1971-75), softball (1974-75) and field hockey (1972). She graduated in 1975 with a bachelor’s in health and physical education. Zotos earned her master’s in sports management at the University of Colorado in 1978 where she was also the assistant to the Director of Women’s Athletics and graduate assistant basketball coach.
