D3baseball.com Mid-Atlantic All-Region Team

GLASSBORO, NJ – Rowan University’s Kevin McMenamin and Brandon Winkler were named to the D3baseball.com Mid-Atlantic All-Region Team on Friday.

McMenamin (fr. Maple Shade, NJ/Maple Shade) was selected to the All-Region second team as a utility player.  Winkler (sr. Glendora, NJ/Paul VI) collected third team honors at second base.

This season, McMenamin leads the Profs with a .398 batting average.  He has 37 hits in 93 at bats.  McMenamin has registered 25 RBIs, 18 runs scored, seven doubles and one triple.  He has produced a .495 slugging percentage and .458 on-base percenatage.  McMenamin was chosen the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) and New Jersey Collegiate Baseball Coaches Association (NJCBA) Division II/III Rookie of the Year.  He received NJAC Rookie Player of the Week honors twice.

A captain, Winkler is hitting .350 with 49 hits in 140 at bats.  He has a team-high 38 runs scored.  He has totaled 17 RBIs, five doubles and one home run.  Winkler has compiled a .477 on-base percentage, .407 slugging percentage and .972 fielding percentage.  He garnered NJAC All-Conference and NJCBA Division II/III All-State first team honors.  Winkler was named to the Capital One/College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-District II first team.
