Rowan Student-Athletes Garner NJAC All-Academic Honors
NJAC All-Academic Teams
GLASSBORO, NJ – Rowan University had 94 student-athletes named to the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) All-Academic Teams.
To be eligible for the conference’s All-Academic Teams, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior who has competed in a conference-sponsored sport. They must possess a minimum grade point average of 3.20.
Women’s soccer player Jess Babice (jr. Groveville, NJ/Steinert) and men’s soccer player Charlie Cunliffe (jr. Lakewood, NJ/Lakewood) were selected to the NJAC All-Academic first team. Softball player Steph Taraschi (sr. Mt. Ephraim, NJ/Audubon) and football player Frank Wilczynski (sr. Pine Hill, NJ/Overbrook) were chosen to the NJAC All-Academic second team. It is Taraschi’s second consecutive year receiving second team honors.
There were 90 Profs that received NJAC All-Academic honorable mention. The NJAC All-Academic Teams included a conference record 550 student-athletes.
